  We have just spent 2 weeks visiting the lower North Island, and the Big Five Motel was the nicest, cleanest unit we stayed in. Also, it was very good value compared to others we used. Jenni is an extremely nice host, and it was no problem for her to put our frozen trout in their personal freezer for us. We would thoroughly recommend this motel.

  Having decided at the last minute to go to Palmerston North for our 50th wedding anniversary & having our wee dog we searched motels that are pet friendly & the Big Five was one that we liked the look of. We were not disappointed with our choice. On arrival we not only had a warm friendly welcome but we were upgraded to a lovely spacious unit that was presented beautifully. The bed was so comfortable & pillows were soft just like ours at home making for a good nights sleep. Chocolates & biscuits on the table were a lovely touch. Many thanks for making our one night stay so enjoyable. We will be back.

  Great motel, the facilities are amazing and it's a really cozy place.
