  Worst experience yet at a bank. Made to wait maybe 20 minutes while teller did a "balance" in front of me. I then asked to cash a cheque. She said I needed photo ID. I only had my Bnz cards on me and said I could enter pin to prove who I am. No, had to have drivers licence. What a waste of a long drive to my nearest bank. I think I'll try to find a friendlier bank.

  HI Folks. I went into BNZ Kilbirnie Branch today to make a deposit and because I do not bank with BNZ they were going to charge me $5 if I didnt have the correct amount in cash? Ridiculous. I understand that BNZ takes a minimalist approach to their decor, well it certainly is a reflection of their customer service as well! So glad I dont bank with this organisation.
