  Went to the greerton shop yesterday for $11 fish meal and just ordered what fish was cooming at ghe time no particular fish as it usually nice beautiful fresh fish. But yesterday we were served Blue Gill as that what was cooking and took our fish back for the cook to try which she said was the original flavour of the fish, but you couldnt even stomach the off putting smell even though taking it back she said it still was just that particular taste and smell of fish and oit of 5 of us couldnt bare it. First ever bad expereince at Bobbys was very dissapointing but just decided we will not go to the greerton store and still Love the other 2 local stores on the strand and papamoa and will still be locals at them 😊

  It's rarely open when I go past. Last time we went there we were the last to order and we must have gotten the leftover fish. It wasn't fresh, it was tasteless and had the texture of jelly almost, it wasn't pleasant. I was so disappointed and now I no longer want to go back as I'm afraid of it happening again.

  A real asset to Greerton Village. The best fish and chips and great selection of wet fish. I loved the welcoming staff and the music which created a friendly and happy place.

  I selected 2 reasonably large pieces of fish (Snapper) the same size. When I got home and opened the parcel I discover only 1 piece of what looks like the original selection and another small portion. Also a 1/2 of chips was part of the order. For an outlay of $24.10 this is an extreme disappointment and I would take it back except for the travelling required (Car). Returned the following morning for a full refund. Thanks all
