  Rooms are nice, and conditioned but staff are quite rude. Staff are very condescending towards us. Probably could spruce up their manners and customer service. After demanding we make sure to arrive early to get our key so staff could close early there was the tour of the room. Throughout the tour being told not to cook on the stove/oven or even use the toaster provided as the fire alarm would be set off and they wanted this avoided. (Should change what you say is available on your website) Fair enough but you should have said prior to me bringing food to cook because you say these amenities are available! Also requested throughout the tour for us to take all rubbish with us is ridiculous. Then saying smoking is permitted outdoors in the carpark which was fine until the next morning when the same staff member came out and said "I make the rules and you cannot smoke here, go down the road to the bus stop". What does the price cover other than the unwelcoming service? Please use the money paid to you on learning some manners.

  Price charged more than booking confirmation. Only two small uht milk pods in fridge. Single bed was very small for an adult. Other than that quite ok.

  Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, modern facilities a definite advantage. Could have stayed longer. Highly recommended place to stay in Lower Hutt.
