::We arrived before they opened on a rainy Saturday and they let us in early to have a drink at the bar. They seated us promptly at opening and the food and service were outstanding. I had the market fish, which was snapper, and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had the lamb shank and pronounced it the best he had ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant,

::I don’t often sing such praises about a place that doesn’t really need it but this place is good. The food was amazing, they have a great wine list and the cocktail I had after dinner was a clever take on one of the classics, easy to mess up but presented and tasted like one of the best. The first thing I noticed was that it was quite expensive but I was working out of town for the evening and though I would treat myself. And a treat was what I got. I recommend the short rib although if you are hungry you will need a starter and the bread supplied. Try here, it won’t disappoint

::Absolutely delicious meal, staff were very accommodating with our two kids. Best steak we’ve had in a long time. Even the green salad was awesome!

::Great little restaurant in the heart of Wellington city. Lovely staff, awesome food and reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out if you consider yourself a foodie 👌

::My wife and I were there last night for our wedding anniversary. This restaurant has been our go to place for special occasions since we found it about 9 years ago. It was one of the more expensive places in Wellington but the quality of the food, service, and overall experience made it worthwhile. That all changed last night and it was apparent as soon as we walked in the door. Where historically we would be walked to the table and seated, this time the staff pointed us to the table in a rather uninterested way. The warning bells were ringing. The person who came for the drinks order had no humanity visible at all on her face and the interaction was terse. We dealt with one other wait staff member and they delivered the service of old, 1 out of 3 isn't bad. Now the food. The food has always been superb. Not tonight. The steak we had was the same high standard but the bread which came with our meal was dry, The hand cut chips where over cooked and hard, not the standard we had come to expect. We have never had a problem paying for a good dining experience and when we pay the sort of money you pay here you expect everything to be great. The food and service should be A1. Sadly this restaurant is now off the menu for us we are about to start looking for a new special occasion restaurant.
