  This is our go to hardware store. Everything you need and good service. Even has its own set of traffic lights.

  No staff available anywhere ! Was looking for an item, I couldn't find it and when I was looking for a staff member, I felt like I was playing "hide and seek"... I then went to the girl at the entrance, when I asked for help, she didn't try to help me at all, she just said "I dont know" and kept staring at my husband. I know he is good looking but come on girl ! I left the shop, without the item that I wanted and not very happy. I guess it wasn't my day neither, that's why 2 stars and not 1, I have to blame my jealousy too lol.

  Always friendly staff and I love it when they have their activities for kids. Face painting, bouncy castle etc. Always seems to have a good vibe. Love the garden centre as they always have a good selection.

  Abysmal inventory system. Looks like their point of sale system is not hooked up to their inventory. Called in advance if an item is available and got a confirmation that stocks are available. Went to the store to find out its out of stock. Had a word with a staff and apparently they had to check it manually in the actual warehouse first not relying on the inventory system. Wasted hours of my time. I will definitely go to mitre10 which actually know what they are doing. Staff are great and helpful but lack of forward thinking of the upper management and a bit of bad IT system brings this store back to stone ages.
