::Really bad experience, the grey haired lady at the front desk was so rude, she has no understanding of the impact her bad attitude has on patients. She is unfriendly, unprofessional and a really bad representative for the centre. I will not be going back.

::I don't normally do google reviews but after reading some of these I feel compelled to. I love Cambridge Medical Centre - Dr Russell is mine and my childrens main doctor, but we have also seen a number of others when he is unavailable or away. Some of the staff are not to my personal 'customer service' preference, but I have found a few that our family loves. My children love Dr Russell and he is never one to rush or seem non-interested, nor do I think he has an "elitist attitude" as one comment suggests. Price wise I have looked around and all the doctors in Cambridge are charging around the same for enrolled patients so I don't feel ripped off by CMC in particular, as I think generally all doctors charge too much!!! Love the reception staff and the nurses, super friendly. You are 95% guaranteed a consult on the same day, which is brilliant with little ones.

::Unfortunate case of a few horrible Doctors ruining the reputations for the good Doctors. There are a few good Doctors at this practice and also some truly terrible Doctors. Wouldn't recommend seeing DR RUSSELL who thinks he is better than his patients and has an elitist attitude, no compassion or sympathy for patients and highly unprofessional. If you decide to go I would suggest asking to see Dr Monique Mackenzie, as she seems the most empathetic and knowledgeable doctor in the practice. Which seems weird given she is the newest edition.

::Unfriendly staff, this was my first doctor when I moved to the Waikato. The doctor I saw was extremely rude and unsympathetic, and they had a buzzer that went off every 10 or 15 minutes and you just got kicked out when it did, regardless of whether you were done. The thing I was seeing the doctor about was very emotional and I couldn't help but cry a little and she just looked disgusted and uncomfortable when I did so, which was really the final straw. That is the one and only time I have been here, would never set foot in the place again, they're also horrendously expensive, charged me an arm and a leg for absolutely nothing as she did nothing to help me or refer me to someone who could help, paid a lot of money to just have someone sit there and look at me like I was dirt. Have since found Dr. Schofield in Leemington who is an absolute angel and will spend as long with you as you need and is absolutely all round brilliant and knowledgeable and kind. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy though...

::You might be made to wait but dont worry anytime lost will b made up 4once you get your consultation- it seems to be a game of see how fast we can get u out the door and collect your $48. Perhaps try listening 2your patients. And maybe explain in detail why you dont think anythings wrong. It might be obvious to you when you see it everyday but when you go once a year when you are feeling your worst and essentially get dismissed...nothing pisses you off more
