I recently went to buy some Scrumpy's, beer and wine from this place and spent a few minutes making the selection. I went up to the till and was served by a man in his mid late 20's with a beard. He asked to see my ID, and I showed him and he started scanning the groceries. I tried to make small talk with the staff. At this point, what I believe to be the manager; a greasy elderly man with a striking resemblance to Bikey Santa asked to see my ID again. He snatched it out my hand and started getting really aggressive with me shouting about the fact that I recently turned 18 (6 months now) and there's no way I'm buying this stuff for me. He had no reason to refuse service, his only argument being his gut feeling (which is indeed rather large). I was shocked at the bad manner in which he served me with. I would highly recommend going to a different store like Liquorland where I have been served very well in the past. Merry Christmas everyone! PS. I was buying all the alcohol partly as a Christmas present for my older brother (wine: classic) and for the Christmas dinner coming up, so I guess fat Santa was right; I wasn't buying the alcohol for myself.

Man interrogated me about my ID, never had this happen to me in my life. I understand he's doing his job but he goes a bit too far. Went in with my mum once when she bought herself something and he asked me for my ID as well and wouldn't believe she was my mum. Then i went in last night and he accused me of supplying for my "friends" outside - I didn't even know who these people were! He asked me about EVERYTHING that was on my ID, even asked my star sign. Wouldn't recommend going in here if you want to be wrongly accused of having a fake ID or supplying some randoms on the street
