  Great fitness centre. Staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable.

  I tried phoning back lower hutt branch coz I felt like i was being told off so i reviewed the conditions for black membership from their website. Unfortunately they never phoned back so im writing a review. This happened twice already and I cannot even tolerate this anymore. The first time i applied for membership, the receptionist wasnt accommodating at all. Then i received a phone call today telling me off that with black membership only me can use the after office hours facility. With black card members, you can pass on the card to a family and friend, But then i checked from the website it states there that a friend member is excluded from the after hours facility which is okay. But It was my husband who used it. A family member. So might aswell restate that families and friends are excluded from after hours facility. My fault was i dont hav the waiver i previously signed. But im expecting wat states on the waiver shud be the same as to what is promised on your website (Consumer Guarantee Act?). This is actually not that big of an issue, it’s the way i was told. This one really pissed me off instead of being grateful that we referred a friend (he applied for the membership already), the lady told me off again telling that my husband even brought a companion with him, where infact somebody from the reception let our friend in that time to try the gym out. I find them ungrateful. Cityfitness facilities are okay, its their people that suck. Maybe go to other branches next time like petone. But im definitely moving to lesmille even tho more expensive but treat you way much much better.

  Major drawback I found , they never pick up fon even if it's not a holiday and also I called few times within staffed hours , but no response and also they haven't responded to my voicemail too , disgusting. No point getting a black membership if u want to use after 9pm jus a waste of money as they ll not allow if u take a guest with u after 9pm and also no access to lockers after 9pm at high street cityfitness ,you'll need to carry it bag with u it's just useless.

  Not bad place, but no boxing gear...not even a decent bag. That's like a must have item for any commercial gym.

  It's a nice gym with friendly staff. It's staffed at 4:50 on a Sunday which I was pleasantly surprised. There is parking slightly further out on the streets.
