::It might be the best hotel in town, there were certainly a lot that looked worse. Reception was ok, it seemed to be intermittently staffed. The structure of the hotel is an older design and not much thought had been put into minimising noise, so the wind made a fair bit. The room itself was nice, typical for a city hotel. The location is convenient to town, there is a gym on site and a restaurant.

::Hassle free check in/out. Staff were more then helpful and always so warm. Room was VERY clean and gorgeous!!! All though it would of been lovely to have cutlery/plates in the rooms as well as a kitchenware which made the simplest of tasks that much more of a hassle. There also seemed to be alot of ants in the room as well-mainly around the food/fridge/main bench are (maybe from the bag of nuts that were left in the room from a previous guest) apart from the little things, our stay was more then positive and the warm hospitality was the cherry on top!! Would happily stay again/recommend. Thankyou Copthorne Palmerston North!!!

::Attended a training course in one of the conference rooms. Very good lighting and good catering. The room was comfortable with the air set just right.

::Nice hotel with good prices. Nice little hotel bar. Our room was detached from the main building, which was nice. Got a park just outside the door. The bathroom door was a sliding one, but it didn’t seal, so you got a feeling that you weren’t really alone. Overall, a nice place. Would stay again.

::After a very stressful day we attended the hotel reception. We received absolutely exceptional service by Mary. The room was excellent and my fiance was able to recieve a great night's sleep. I am very very thankful to the staff for being amazing and understanding. The only downside was quite a bit of left over hair in the bath which I cleaned happily.
