::Secluded camp site. Worth a visit as all one hears is the sea!

::Best to go with a high vehicle( UTE) definitely not for big campers maybe a HIACE or similar.Cant wait to go there to camp. Not many spaces but seems sheltered from the weather. Nice open kitchen. Toilets are there. Must have been a massive slip a while ago round the one river gorge. Just a amazing place. Funny enough the south island looks closer

::Fantastic location, busier than expected but it was new year's eve. Beautiful scenery, tucked in trees native Bush and the bay right st your door front. Dolphins close in the bay enjoying a feed every morning we were there. Felt very spoilt. Definitely revisiting at a quieter time.

::It's a Campsite, it's got long drops, running water (boil it) and a large table to sit and eat at. The ground is shallow soil on rock base which makes it difficult to peg a tent down. It's also a little uneven. The beach and surrounding public land is excellent though but take care around the public land as its used by hunters to access the rimutaka range.

::Very basic campsite, boiling the water is recommended. Long drop toilet, and open shelter for eating and cook. Handy place to stop if riding the bog coast loop over 2 days. No shops within 40km plus.. Take all you need
