::No means No. 10:31 PM (0 minutes ago) No means No I recently placed an on line order with Countdown supermarket n Tikipunga. I selected the no substitutes option. When the invoice arrived there were a number of items with the word no beside them. There was not any information on just what this meant so i thought it reasonable to assume that they were unable to supply these items, so i made plans to buy them elsewere. When i picked up my order i was surprised to see that these items were included with the order. When i asked about this i was advised that no meant that those particular items only were not to be substituted..When you select the no substitutes option it should mean just that, with no exceptions.I think that this was pretty stupid really and i told them so. I would have doubled up on these items if i had i not picked up my order first.

::Went to buy groceries here, and the groceries were not only available for purchase, immediately but they even had payment facilities on site. They even had eftpos.

::The shops is quite nice and tidy, and the interior is quite modern. Nicely located at the outskirt of Whangarei, at the Paramount Plaza. So you can easily get your grocery along with your other shopping.

::Definitely a super market which has a. lower ranking in Whangarei supermarkets. The staff here are normally friendly and the products (especially the bakery products) are usually always fresh. One big let down is that you just don’t feel safe in the car park outside (there have been a few instances over the years). All in all, this super market is not the worst in Whangarei it is just given a disservice based on its location.
