  Nice decent sized countdown store shelving all the items. Friendly staff and ample parking too. Near by pak n save does give them a competitive challenge. Good overall.

  Good variety But don't sell fresh fruit salads which is what I was after

  Always have a look around and see the specials have my favorite things I only buy in Countdown. Also have some great 2 day sales.

  I tend to go here more often than Pak n Save because it saves me a few steps and I like free plastic bags more than the planet that has given me life. But when it comes to grabbing something for lunch, the bakery and deli have a really poor selection of ready-made food. Overall, it is quite an average supermarket.
