  Good specials, but could do with better variety, for example: have the more popular chocolate flavours, or deodorant scents etc. They'll have the stuff from the catalogue, but not necessaily the full selection. Lack of trollies and baskets can be a problem sometimes.

  Generally one of the tidier countdowns to shop in. Has a pharmacy inside of the store and generally more availability of stock being a bigger store.

  An excellent shop, very convenient parking. We always shop here when visiting family in Wellington. A great range of vegan food items. The shop is very clean and the food is always fresh. The staff are friendly and interested in us as visitors to Wellington. Very welcoming. My favourite Wellington supermarket.

  Countdown's very close to me and has reasonable prices on a fairly wide range of items. I needed a loo brush and was not sure they would have one but I found 3 different types there! I like this supermarket as it definitely has a local Newtown feel rather than Metropolitan Welly feel. I'll be back.

  From outside the shop looks small but it's actually huge as any other countdown store and has almost everything you need for your daily grocery. The wine, fruits and vegetables and meat section is good. The other items are not very properly labelled so you might need to search or ask for her otherwise it is good. Parking is available at the basement.
