  Locates inside St Lukes Mall, at the ground floor. A convenient place for food shopping when you are going to the mall. Great range of groceries and stuff. Friendly and helpful staff. It usually busy and crowded here so sometimes you will need to wait in a long line for check out. This Countdown supermarket closes at 8pm, a bit different with others. Remember to check for parking time

  Asked a staff member to hold some items for me while I spent ten minutes dealing with an issue at the bank at the other end of the mall (which your staff member directed me to), when I returned I was told my items had been taken away. Incredibly inconvenient and highly inconsiderate given that your staff member was told I was running late for a family Christmas event and knew I would be returning for said items. Other members of staff were also less than attentive. I regret having to spend any money in this supermarket and won’t be returning.

  Slow cachier also spent 5 minutes comparing my coupon to my countdown card while many customers were waiting. She also spent another 3 minutes picking up 12 sesame seeds she could have rubbed them off with one move.

  It is always busy, so I try doing shopping early before 10.30am. Check out service is great.

  Great place with wide range of selection, with a salad bar, hot selection, breads, dairy, baked goods, frozen veggies, frozen selection food, juices, meat, fish, cheese, great daily and weekly deals with self check out option.
