  Great range and prices. I've recently moved to Countdown from New World. Prices seem reasonable, however location is key for me personally. Also great banter from the staff.

  This is a typical countdown supermarket. It does the basics very well and has good opening hours. This is one of the smaller stores so there are some things that they do not stock.

  I have mixed feeling about this place. Matt who does the trolleys is always friendly and accommodating 2. One of the checkout operators lets the place down. She has been polite enough to me but I have observed her as being short and rude to others and on one occasion she made what I would consider a racist remark, not realizing I am Maori - in relation to a nit shampoo purchase. Often I find the wait in checkout lines too much and wonder if they have enough staff on at peak times.
