::Absolutely stunning slice of history. Spend at least an hour or so walking around and soaking it all in.
Jacqui Ballantyne
::Beautifully restored. Must see
Jack Wynne
::Very large area with many buildings restored to their former glory. Lots of them have been kept at the original eg smithies and bakery. Others have facades kept but are now cafes and art galleries. A great stop in cromwell down on the river front. Amazing how different the landscape is since the construction of the dam. Would recommend you stop here next time you're in Cromwell!

::Take the time to wander back in history all for free. Dine in one of the restaurant and enjoy the scenery. Farmers markets is on Sunday which is the perfect time to visit it's all worth while.

::Very well worth a visit. Itβs such a beautiful location. The cafe was great and there is a nice collection of heritage buildings and displays to fill in half an hour. Lots of space for kids to run around at the water front. Make sure you follow all the paths up the hill to see everything.
