    Really disappointed in the service I received by the Salon director. To cut a long story as short as possible, I asked to have some lighter natural foils and to have a light trim keeping as much length as possible. I showed Sharron the look I was after in a photo and she explained the technique she would use to achieve this. My hair ended up far shorter than I wanted, and the colour job was terrible. Patchy, streaky, some colour coming from roots and other colour half way down the length of hair as if it was regrowth! Some unnaturally bright streaks, and some colour after a couple of washes seemed to fade out completely. My hair is now a dry brittle texture which it hasn't been like in years. Living a 3hour return trip away I phoned to explain it wasn't what I expected and kindly asked what options there were to remedy the situation. I had to have several phone calls back and forth with one of Sharron's employees as Sharron didn't seem to want to talk to me personally. She offered to fix the problem by having me return but unfortunately that was more time and expense traveling, and more time in the seat again. So I asked for a refund. At first she offered $150 saying all it needed was a quick touch up. Then $200. When I explained my hair was much healthier and nicer looking prior to the experience and that I was embarrassed to wear my hair out in public, and would prefer a refund to have it completely redone, she replied to the email saying she would put the money in my account. When I checked it was only 200. I have wasted hours of my time emailing her back and forth. I have been honest but polite as I understand mistakes happen, and perhaps there was miscommunication somewhere along the lines. She has changed her story multiple times. Unfortunately it has gotten to the point where she has spoken to me in an unprofessional manner and is now unresponsive to any communication. I have spoken with a couple of other hair technicians from different salons who agree the quality of service was poor and a full refund is fair. It was never my intention for this to get messy but I am So disappointed in how Sharron has handled this matter. I have been a loyal client for years and have never had a bad experience with any other hair technician. Ever. I paid $350 that day. $45 product and the rest on hair. That is really expensive for what was done. Sharron still has a large portion of money she refused to refund and I am absolutely guttered about this. You would think someone in a position of management would be the first to own up to their mistakes and do what they could to ensure their client left feeling happy and wanting to return. Unfortunately I will never be recommending this salon or returning again. UPDATE: It is disappointing to see Sharon has finally responded to this review below with the comment "two sides to every story"... Not sure what the other side is!?? Would be happy for you to share, Sharon. To the general public ... It is probably worth directing you to other people's negative experiences at Cutting Edge, and reviews on their Facebook page. Two sides to their stories too? Finally, I would like to point out that the fact that the star rating is so high is because Sharon's Employees have given the business five stars (I wonder if they were asked to bump up the rating?). I recognise their names. Even she personally has rated it a five star.

    Very unhappy Dad and son hair cuts last week Thursday night 23/1/19 @ 6:30pm didn't know what a fade was or how to box it off got wash and cut which we didn't want partner thought was still same really expensive both there cuts was $73 what! Walked out annoyed didn't want to make a scene ended up going to hair on 5 mile the next day to get fixed even they were shocked 😬 wish I could add a photo I didn't even want to do 1 star more like -5 🌟

    The team here were amazing, completed a bridal party of ten beautifully and in a relaxed manner so we all enjoyed it but so efficient! Loved this experience, thank you cutting edge!
