  This is a feedback for Bike Barn Manukau that replaced Cycle City here. I came in to check for a large road bike. I have done extensive research into exactly what type and size was right for me. The largest bikes they had were two sizes too small, but the saleperson was determined to make a sale, so for half an hour tried to literally convince me out of everything I ever thought I knew about sizing, Shimanos and components. All this was done while showing a trainee. I played along, there were two bikes in showroom, every time I asked about the $1,000 bike I got a reply about the $2,000 bike which was surplus to my needs. Turned out later even Bike Barn's own sizing guide on their website directly contradicts anything the salesman said. I had a much better experience at the Mt Wellington branch though.
