  We have been going to Dinky Dogz since they opened. Originally we just went for daycare, this was instrumental in socializing our previously very timid dog. Our dogs are older now so we mainly use DK for boarding and it is a a true home away from home. DK owner's Michelle and Alan have created a wonderful purpose built building to house the dogs just below their own house, with couches, toys, even a wood burner for those cold nights. It is a bit of a journey to get there, at the top of the Belmont Hill in Lower Hutt, but most dog care businesses are similarity out of the way, to allow for inevitable noise. If you have a small dog they will love Dinky Dogz.

  Went to inspect before boarding our little Shih Tzu the facilities are incredible and the owners are dog lovers plus. It's a real treasure.

  Have left our dog here on several occasions and she seems to love it.
