  Damn son, grew up with the early bird. Memories son. Them doughnuts on a Saturday for the kids . Then moved on to apple turnovers with cream, every spare cent. You the best guys

  This bakery has moved to the opposite side of Ponsonby Road and open. "Closed" on the Map is wrong. This is as of Sept. 9, 2017.

  Early Bird Bakery has the best pies in Ponsonby, along with a great range of sandwiches, filled rolls and other lunches. Their chicken sandwiches actually taste like chicken!
