::The pub quizzes here are amazing, they have great deals like (good) $12 steak with a drink or $20 lamb shanks. Brilliant.

::Great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink (or few if having a night out). Bar style and garden seating. Good range of food options and the team at the Empire do a pretty good job taking care of their Customers.

::Great place for drinks in the Auckland area. Especially cheap jugs of Tiger , which are good when this is what everyone wants. Also offer affordable food till fairly late and the quiz seems to get quite a lot of attention. Staff also seem friendly. Preferred to the nearby Irish bars which can be expensive and a little loud. Only thing to improve upon is if the place was busier.
