::Sales staff are reasonably friendly enough but the customer service of the repair people is non existent and they are very unprofessional. Said that I shouldn't be complaining about an issue with a brand new bicycle because "it's one of the cheapest bicycles we sell." That purchase was still over $600!

::We had an overall good & bad experience here all in one transaction. The good - Jerry the kid from the UK that helped us was really new and couldn’t answer most of our questions but wasn’t afraid to ask the other guys working for help. Everyone has to learn! He did have a great attitude though and that made buying here a pleasure. Give this kid a raise!! The bad - The guy that was training him was really rude and told Jerry he couldn’t help him with our purchase because we weren’t spending enough money. We are looking to buy another bike. If I have to deal with that guy we will be going elsewhere & telling our friends to do the same.

::I think they don't pay their staff enough - never been served by more dejected and bored shop staff in all my life - it's like all the happiness has been knocked out of them. Something very wrong with the culture in this store. It's like they've forgotten that just because cyclists buy cheap stuff - it doesn't mean we won't one day turn up and buy the $5000 bike on display. Something that places like Bike Barn understand really well. Like in Hawaii where everyone walks around in jandals and shorts - no shop owner underestimates what they could spend (alot of them are well off and ready to spend)

::Great customer service from Benny have had a few muck ups from online store but we're sorted out .Be nice if they opened a store on the north shore.

::Summary: The service was fine. Two bikes were bought from here. I went in knowing what bike I thought I wanted, I wasn't offered any other options (perhaps there weren't any for my requirements), therefore cannot really comment on lack of or abundance of knowledge. The guy helping me was really friendly and let me take it for a ride outside (helmet included!). He was happy for me to purchase what I saw online (obviously an easy sell). I took one bike home that day. He was kind enough to hold the second bike for someone else in my house-hold to pick-up a few days later. The second bike was picked up 2 days later. I made a phone call a few days after the second pick up to let them know that the second bike didn't have reflectors, the man on the other end responded very sarcastically...which took me by surprise. I understand they are not a requirement, however I explained that my expectation was that both the bikes bought from there be built the same, but he said that it was up to the person building it (which makes no sense, because there should be a common standard). He did however tell me to bring the bike in and they would sort it out. He was probably messing around with his sarcastic response, but it's not ideal over the phone to a customer - people generally just want a solution without the drama.
