::Great setting. Great for kids. You can have a easy walk around (or a more strenuous walk up to the Centre of New Zealand just across the road!) and enjoy the cafe afterwards.

::Really fun place to visit, very interesting how the history of the area has been gathered together in one place! Had a lot of fun and spent a good half a day here

::Founders Park...we both loved walking around this wonderful place at a leisurely pace. Great write ups and videos to watch. We had planned to visit two other places that day but so enjoyed the 3 hours of wandering around, a coffee and muffin at the cafe that we felt happy doing just this one. Thanks Founders. Please, please try to keep the cafe as it was a lovely environment.

::Kids had an absolute blast, one of the highlights had to be the tram ride which was $5 per adult and lasted about 15 minutes. There were some interesting facts regarding the history of the buildings but for the kids an open top tram was plenty of excitement. We also stopped at the on grounds pub and got the kids a kids platter and ourselves some chips to share nothing to complain about there either, the last point of note for myself was seeing the old printing presses being refurbished so that they can be soon put into action....only which I could have seen them go. Very nice day trip, would definitely recommend.

::Very interesting Historic Walk around Village located in Nelson. Great variety of replicated buildings with a theme and contents that depict life as it was for the founders of the Nelson community. Very nice cafe/bar onsite with indoor and outdoor seating. For an entry fee of $7 NZ for non locals it was a great way to spend a few hours. Very educational.
