  That Saturday, there was a food demo by 2014 MasterChef contestant, Vanessa Baxter. Sample of a tiramisu with blueberry topping after her cooking demo. Certainly, a very nice place to shop with events quite often. One day, there was even a roast chicken for $5.00 and another time rump steak for >$7.00/kg.

  Was my first visit to fresh collection 2 weeks ago. There were ice cream tasting and I decided to take the kids to try it since they were craving for strawberry ice cream for a while. The first part is the place itself which I found it nice especially the small area upstairs which I guess is there to host tasting or live cooking events. The second part is the "Anija's" real strawberry ice cream which was there for tasting at that day and it was really nice and different from similar one I tried before. They said they are based in west Auckland but they worth a try.

  700gr block of cheese which is about $9 in most places was charged $16.99. A bit miffed as I think I got ripped. I am confident the shelf price was less. Still way more than normal. This place has the buying power of the group but still chooses to price themselves way above market. It has a an awesome location and would be very busy if priced right. I will in future continue on an extra Km on my way from work and shop at Countdown Mairangi Bay.
