  I have been a local at this store for eight years now and Cambridge has been my home since the Christchurch earthquake. Despite the fact that I use a mobility scooter and have a walking stick a new member of staff claims i am intimidating or scary in some way. I am now uncomfortable in my own local store. I get anxious about going into the store to get anything now. My reputation is ruined by a newcomer to town and its not professional that they allow their staff to bring personal issues into the workplace with no basis or proof so their customers are uncomfortable.

  Normally I have had great service from the checkout ladies but have been in twice in the last few weeks and the checkout lady did not even take or offer to pack my groceries in my reusable bags. Do they no longer offer bag packing? It's quite hard to pay and pack you own groceries while 3 others waiting in line. Not so keen to shop here anymore😐

  I went there for banana boxes. They had lots, and were happy to be rid of them. Nice staff. Very helpful and friendly.

  It's a good supermarket could use some more checkouts cause it can be real slow at the checkout.

  Has most items, relatively reasonable prices and quite nice staff. Fine as a local supermarket and for most trips. Slightly disappointed there's no Deli, though the deli-type foods seem fine.
