::Rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed. Have stayed on a few different occasions. The hotel dog is a bonus!

::Good property, well maintained, and fan was adequate for our stay. Lack of air con would be an issue in hotter temps, but okay for us. Shower is small, as is WC cabinet, requiring a person to shimmy alongside the pan to close the door. Comfortable bed, and the hotelier is a great fount of knowledge, and the rooms are impeccably clean, and contain everything you need for a short stay. Greymouth offers more than you imagine, and we will certainly be back, and would certainly stay again at the gables motor lodge.

::Clean and comfortable accommodation, with great value for price! Greymouth was flooded at our time of visit and the motel is on nice high ground!
