::I had been told about a good café in Hamilton East off Grey Street, but as I went down the alley next to the Barbershop Co I began to think this couldn't be it. But nearly at the far end is GG's cafe, as if it had been left over from the 60s. It has a lovely calm feel with friendly service. I enjoyed my coffee and cinnamon bun, but I saw they do vegan soup.

::Wat a nice little vintage cafe! Located down an alley, so no traffic noise when sitting outside. Place is super vegan (though they still charge extra for plant milks...) and kid friendly, with a nice little play room in the back. Haven't tried their food, but the coffee was great!

::Cool little venue, down an alleyway in what looks like converted workshops. On a sunny day there are tables and umbrellas outside, and with no traffic outside it is very pleasant. Inside the decor is intriguing. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. Pleasant staff, reasonably quick service and a good vibe. Recommend the almond croissant - amazing!

::Such good coffee, and super vegan friendly! Staff are lovely as well. I had a vegan bean pie and it was everything I was hoping.

::Little gem hidden in the residential alley. Good food. Hoping to see a new autumn/winter menu soon
