::After booking accommodation 8 months early to make sure we got quality accommodation in a good location, we were contacted by Goodstays to cancel due to "maintenance on the property" 5 weeks before our departure. Of course there was no decent accommodation left being so close, we had to cancel the entire New Zealand trip. No response to refund requests and so have lost our deposit. I have raised a claim with our travel insurance company, these guys are cowboy's, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!

::I have just spoken to one of the goodstays operator on phone. She has no patient and really rude. I know it is the very peak season in Queenstown but that should not be the type of attitude your customer service team is. Thanks

::This is the only company charge a deposit on top of the accommodation. Be careful with this so-called "deposit", you will never get a full refund back as they do find excuses to charge extra and deduct from you deposit. Our terrible experience with them: They had confirmed to provide 6 single beds for us on the phone but end up provided 1 dual king bed and two queen size bed. They charged us an additional for separating the dual king beds as two single beds. They provided a small rubbish bin only for us to stay there for 4 days and 3 nights. We had to packed overfull rubbish in a rubbish large rubbish bag and left them in the kitchen for their collection. They charged us another additional "cleaning fee" .
