::Went to Colin 4weeks after pulling my hamstring in the UK. My usual Physic had used ultrasound and gentle massage and advised no training, just walking for 6 weeks. Wish I'd been able to see Colin in the UK! Totally different approach and one that made total sense. Measured the strength in my good leg, compared against the damaged one (75% weaker) and gave me a set of exercises to build it back up, also said slow runs should be undertaken. The logic being, there is no point resting the damaged leg for 6 weeks and then running again as it will be put under greater stress and susceptible to breaking down again. Hitting 3rd in age on Strava sections within 2 weeks for me proves Colin's methods work. Oh and he charges the same as the "oil you up and massage" brigade.
