  Very nice park at Lake Taupo, with many Maori scriptures, and a time capsule was buried here too!

  Nice lake and a small town that offers everything. I went there for round the lake cycle challenge and had a very enjoyable weekend.

  Great place for family holiday, ready walk/bike around the lake, pram friendly path, ample parking and lots restaurants by the lake. highly recommend.
