::As somebody who has discovered yoga through search for the most effective method to relief pain from back injury and regain mobility, I have tried just about every yoga studio in town and Wellington proudly boast many of those. And while having variety of options is certainly a good thing, it was not until I found Jenifer and Healium that I started to truly feel holistic benefits of yoga. If I am to summarize Healium and Jenifer’s approach to yoga in one sentence it would be – - Yoga as it Meant To Be. Pure. Simple. Whole. Yoga without trendy (and therefore transient) additions/modifications. Jenifer’s rich and over many years well-honed experience as a yoga-teacher coupled with her down-to-earth approached, occasionally peppered with well-placed humour, makes even the total beginner feel at ease. If that is not enough Healium is arranged as a friendly, cosy studio where one-on-one attention, including alignment corrections are regular occurrences rather than something that only happens occasionally or in a private class. Last but not least – Healium prices are very affordable and location is in the heart of CBD.

::Great yoga studio. Small classes so you don't get lost in the crowd and the teaching is adapted to the individual so it is suited to any level. The owner Jenifer has a lovely teaching style and you can see her influence in the other teachers. Unpretentious and nice community vibe. Highly recommend.

::Healium yoga is about form fun and practice. A relaxed yoga studio where you can practice postures, improve your flexibility (from whatever starting point) and take some time out from a busy day. I really like the adjustments we get to help us make the best expression of a posture that we can given our current state of (in)flexibility.

::Healium is absolutely the best yoga place in town. Why? I have tried a few studios but I always go back to Jenifer & Healium. For several reasons: 1. They tell you how you should be aligned, which foot should be where and which muscle should be doing what and how to get in a pose (within your own limitations) 2. They adjust you which helps you learn for next time 3. They share their knowledge of the benefits different poses give you whether it's long term health benefits or flexibility or strength 4. It's a small studio so personal, friendly and relaxed 5. Every class is like a journey and you come out feeling awesome (45 minutes well spent). I love it :)

::Jenifer is a very talented teacher who gives back to her students and the community! I have known her since 2005 and she was my yoga teacher during my own teacher training. She is very attentive to the proper alignment of yoga poses and is keen on not only making sure students get a great workout but done according to ancient teachings. This results in a safe and effective practice that the student can take home and make their own.
