::I'm a big craft beer fan, and work in the industry in the UK. I love hoppy beers, and these guys are making some of the best we had anywhere in NZ. This little taproom on the side of the road is great. We had good service, the guy let us taste as many beers as we wanted. We walked out with a box of beer to enjoy during our holiday. I recommend visiting here to pick up beer, and eat a pie across the street at the foodtruck, great lunch stop.

::Great quality beers worth the stop for a tasting. And just to make it easier: tastings are free. They're also as easy as yearning with a mate at the bar of a well presented local pub. The tastings are curated by brewery staff who don't put on much of a show. This can be a little disappointing as the show behind the beer is normally why you'd visit. Never mind that though, the range available offered some mouth watering flavours. Once you get your host going on preferences for beers and their drinking in NZ, the experience should pick up. Go here for specials on Hops Federation beers and enjoy determining which one you want to take home; we recommend the American Brown Ale and the Red IPA.
