  Absolutely love the vibe of this place and coffee and food beautiful. The staff are awesome, polite helpful and everything done with a smile. As retirees and healthy foodies (the salad choice is fantastic) who spend time travelling NZ this would be at the top of our list and we will definitely make it a destination in the future. Keep up the good work guys...you rock !

  A great location and popular venue especially on the weekends, but we managed to get a table straight away though which was great. We had breakfast and coffee. Both were delicious. Next time I will be brave and try one of their specials. Will definitely come beck next time I'm in Wellington

  Great location and very good service. Really good place for drinks in a fine day. Breakfast was pretty average and portions quite small so the food let it down. The avocado and mushrooms dish was good but tiny. Toast was very dry she hard.

  My first time at Karaka, so this was a different experience. Stunning meal, but please don't bring out all the courses at once! Also, didn't realise that there would be live music right beside our table, so maybe the indoors should be left for diners, especially if the entertainment is meant to be mainly for those dining outside. However, love the indigenous menu - a great change from the usual cafe fare.

  Seriously it was so wonderful. The food was bombastic. The staff was so lovely and friendly who cater you your needs, I have gone prior to lockdown will happily recommend to anyone who wants AMAZING SERVICE. Such an awesome amazing wellington place to go. Eat inside or outside just amazing
