  Get a lot of good clothing here and outdoor equipment. Be good to support made in New Zealand clothing companies though such as those making NZ merino.

  It's great! So many high quality products that are not at the cheapest prices but when you get times where product are on sale, lots of interesting and items that are out of expectations. If you are looking for outdoor gear that don't compromise quality, this is the right place for you.

  Really well stocked Kathmandu branch in Newmarket. Goods tend to be priced on the expensive side so wait for sales which tends to always happen around public holidays.

  Premium level prices for substandard quality equipment. Prices are often on special but even when halved they are still excessive. Staff are not helpful or knowledgeable at all about the outdoors. Limited range of products, no diversity outside the Kathmandu own brands. Really nothing positive I can think to say about the products, prices or services. I've had bad experiences with Kathmandu products in London, Sydney and Auckland. I've stopped shopping there. Fortunately, in Newmarket, there's Simply Living not far away and those guys are awesome!
