  It’s all been said, but kiwi international is a great budget friendly, no-frills central base in Auckland. The rooms are clean, and the reception was friendly, though the freezer didn’t work to make ice. Parking with the ParkMate app at the garage down the road is very cheap if their lot is full.

  I love the location of this place... so central to plenty of restaurants, cafes, bus stops and shops... the parking is first in first service... the hotel room is clean not that keen on the sharing bathroom... price is pretty good

  The location is great. Right downtown Auckland. Room was clean. Good value for money. The negatives were a constantly running, very noisy toilet and a strange layout to the room. The bathroom was long and skinny, with little room to turn around in. Breakfast was fine. It was nothing special but not bad, either... eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt. One person in our group asked to switch rooms because of a strong sewage smell, but I did not have this issue.

  Its not like a 5 star hotel but the room was very clean and spot on. We stayed in the twin share room for one night and we slept well. The shower and toilet are also clean and we can't complain with what we paid. We were lucky to pick up the special of $59 for a night. I am definitely going back there again.

  Good location, but it's somewhat hard to find (in the back). Not very clean. Bed was good, but room was very small. Breakfast was not included, but there is some. However, I went outside for breakfast. Would look for something else first to stay at.
