::Great waitstaff and great food. Would go back next time in Palmerston North.

::Seriously poor. The menu is limited. The food itself is very home cooked style with no class or finesse. Do not choose to eat here unless you are incapable of going elsewhere. A total waste of money and it was like being in a black comedy as far as the service was concerned. The waiter had no idea what was on the menu and was clearly filling in.

::Poor srvice and the food was not very nice. Pork belly dry and crackling burnt. My wife's lamb had sinu running through it and the made potato was lumpy. There was a function in the room next door and the base of the music was extremely annoying which the waitress said she could do nothing about. Overall a celebration ruined. Will not return.

::Had a date night dinner here last week and our main was devine! Was surprised by the poor rating they have overall. My husband and I both had the Angus beef steak with duck fat potatoes and carrot pearls as pictured and it was beautifully cooked and presented. The dessert of rhubarb crumble however did seem quite amateur with the chocolate wafer sticks you get from the supermarket at Xmas time on top and I'm sure it had been microwaved. But overall the main was perfect and service was attentive. Generous wine serving. Would definitely go back to try the High Tea.
