::Itβs a great place, needs some improvement in the communal areas but it does the job. Breakfast was amazing and well stocked.
Jody Templeton
::Lovely place with great hosts. Who could ask for a better setting. The castle dinner was sublime.

::Outstanding from the warm personal greeting from Peter who was awaiting our arrival in the driveway, to the authentic dining experience that made you feel like you were the residing family of the castle. An experience everyone should have on their bucket list and plan for a 2 day experience to emerse yourself in the exquisite gardens and sumptuous decor of the myriads of rooms.

::A very unique, special setting. A treat to eat in the impressive dining room. Found bed a bit soft but liked the pillows.

::There were three of us staying in the stables family room. The downstairs area was the dining area with a family room on the side and still looked like a stable. The rooms were upstairs. The room was fairly large and had a TV and kettle. Shared bathrooms and shower facilities which were all clean. There was also a shared fridge with water and milk. We also did the dinner at the castle which was an experience. The food was alright but being able to dine in the rooms was quite an experience. Dinner was booked when getting the rooms to get a 10% discount. We ordered the meals, which needed to be done before 1700 that day when checking in so it was really convenient. The beds came with breakfast, both a cooked and continental breakfast. Breakfast was just in the lower stables area. It was easy to book online and we just checked in at the lodge area after being directed there by the person at the gate. Rooms (and the building in general) were all warm and clean. It was also nice to walk around the grounds in the fading light to get a different view of the place. The accommodation also included entry into the castle (we did ours the next day) along with an audio guide. Quite a nice experience particularly if you need a spare nights accommodation. A bit pricey but also a unique experience.
