::Good food and great service. Only issue was when we were needing to pay and quite a few of the tills weren't working. My wife who'd been here in Dec last year said they had the same problem. Hope the till issues aren't too common for others!

::Had the most perfect night out here for my brothers birthday tonight! Our meals were cooked to perfection and came out super fast! The desert was amazing and the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make a fuss for him and put a candle in his desert to wish him Happy Birthday. Best Lone Star restaurant I’ve been to! We all absolutely loved it!

::Lone Star is one of our long time favourites. Everything we've had from the ribs to the lamb shanks to the steak to the fish has been fantastic. Nice big helpings for the hungry, coupled with a good kids menu make it great for a family dinner. The service has always been friendly and helpful, and the staff as a general rule are really on the ball. Lone Star is a place that I'm perfectly happy to keep coming back to on a very regular basis

::Probably the friendliest Loan star I have been to. Don't get me wrong, the others are good, but there is something about the South Island people, they have a very charismatic way about them. And the food was awesome.
