  Have been to Lone Star in a number of nz towns and I can say with confidence that the rotorua one stands out as the best! The food just seems to be better and the service was great! They appeared to be very efficient and effective.. We had a great evening!

  The lone star offers great food and service. Western styled food and good facilities and services including a bar with a wide range of drinks to pick from. The menu is large and has good variations. Very much enjoyed my meal in the lone star and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Rotarua.

  Love the new venue as I couldn't go to the old one. Tony and I enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back to Lone Star Cafe - Rotorua. We are eating out once a month and I am enjoying trying new places and some old favourites!

  This is a fantastic place to spend a special evening with your favourite companion. Food is absolutely top quality and the staff are brilliant at thier jobs. When asked if a dish contains an item they produced an allergen menu to show what dishes contain what allergens. Can't wait to go back.

  We phoned for booking for 6pm. It was quite busy but we were shown to our table straight away. My husband did have to go up and get our drinks and we were not asked again if we wanted another. But the meal was superb the service very good. They do sell themselves short by not up selling. No one came near other than to ask if everything was ok. Ambience excellent. Cleanliness excellent. Food excellent
