  Friendly and fast service. Large servings and is responsibly priced. Can be a bit loud, sound from other tables etc travels.

  Great restaurant with generous portions and delicious food. It was busy so there was a short wait but there was space at the bar to have a drink and the wait went quickly. Staff are helpful and many people seemed to be celebrating an occasion even bringing cake. It can get loud but nothing too major.

  Have always loved lone star, have been to rototuna one many times before but after being declined a couple of times the free tshirts they give out to promote their own business will never go back, my kid asked for one and they said they didnt have any when u can clearly see them over the counter. Stingy stingy people, every other lone star we've been to over the north island are always more than happy to hand out free tshirts!

  Last night my husband and myself had dinner for my birthday. We are very happy with the food and personal happy service bestowed to,us. We have dined here a number of times and never had a problem with the service or the meals. Happy New Year to everyone

  Lone star is always a reliably good meal. Portion sizes are huge though so if you are not a big eater then maybe skip straight to the main meal. The desserts used to be amazing (the Jack Daniels self saucing pidding in particular) but lately they have been smaller and dry so I would recommend going elsewhere for dessert.
