  Very close to auckland city and Albany. Best place for day picnic, Campaign, Swimming and morning walk in the beach. Good parking facility. You can’t bring dog inside the park. But probably you can take them to the beach. Strongly recommend to visit Long Bay Beach

  Awesome dog beach. Winter off leash any time. Summer before 10am and after 6.30pm. Check web for exact dates. Great park behind to BBQ. No dogs in the park.

  My favourite beach in Auckland lots of trees which is great for shelter for the family clean toilets a big playground for the children. Free barbeques to use for cooking. There also are ice cream shop. Park rangers watching over park. Also life guards .. big beach to play and swim My family come out here every summer

  Calm beach. Fabulous sand for sand castles. Ample parking. Even grassy areas to sit on instead of the beach. Play area for young children. Public toilets and ranger's station. A word of warning: do not stay late because the gate to the car parks shuts - yes it happened to us. We were locked in for a couple of minutes until a bus turned up.

  One of the beaches in North Shore we love to go and day camp.. It was a great sunny, cool day when we went and we stayed from 9.30am-8.30pm... It has a big toilet and change room, many drinking fountains near each bookable site.. We would love to come again!
