::The park equipment is limited but has free parking, which is getting increasingly rare in these parts. A good and fairly easy walk through for a lovely forest bath and very nice picnic spots where you may find some ducks in the river too.

::Took my 9 year old son. The play equipment is better suited to younger children I think. We found the playground at the town basin better for him. Good points - clean toilets, shade from the trees. No drinking fountain at the moment, its gone for some reason.

::One of my favorite parks in Whangarei,has fresh drinking water, a toilet, lots of mature trees for shade, a playground for kids and some open ground for some family games

::Awesome park lots of room for children to run. The play ground is really good but not fenced and is close to a road. There is toilets and a drinking fountain as well as picnic tables.
