  Great facilities and pretty cheap considering there are no free campsites around. There is lots of snap edits for camping. And it’s just down from the beach.

  Spacious, level, never crowded, good clean facilities with free showers, 2 minute walk from the beach, all at a remarkable low overnight charge.

  Nice spot near the beach ,fairly basic, good value and quite , 10 mins from New Plymouth.

  After reading some of these reviews, I wasn't expecting much. But when we arrived we got to park in a large open area with lots of trees for shade and it was well maintained. The ablutions and kitchen block were like old time camping and I felt they were adequate for our needs. Kitchen could do with a bit of work but was still fine. Showers were hot and clean. Handy to the beach and only 20 mins to New Plymouth. I enjoyed my time there and would definately go back.

  Sort of okay amenities not that flash often not a lot of hot water for showers washing machine old as d hills n dryer dont work!Campers advice... Don’t leave your phones unattended while on charge in the kitchen as they get stolen, if you feel inclined ask one of the people that stay there in motor homes to charge your phones or iPad/that way you will know they are in safe hands & will still be there when you require them! Many will gladly assist you! Recently a few phones have gone missing along with food being stolen out of the fridge, So be careful ! Cheap place to stay overnight or longer!
