  Restaurant was a mess - rubbish and food scraps everywhere and staff were unhelpful and pretty much rude ! Staff said there were no more pies or fillet o fish but there was, they just didnt want to cook anymore. Then they nearly gave the two hard pies (I wanted 6) I paid for away at the drive thru until I said something. No apology or sorry for the wait then forgot to give my mcflurry - lucky Koro ( who is visiting from Australia and only wanted a georgie pie pie )remembered so i went back in again to get that. Then had to ask for a bloody spoon. I should have shares in Upper Hutt McDonalds for the amount of money I spend there weekly and this was just not good enough.

  They rarely get your order right in busy times when using the drive through. Also drinks area needs a good clean, and bin needs to be emptied.

  Eating here is a safe place for people of all ages can relax and enjoy their meals while your kids can go and play inside the play area.

  Me and my husband visit here the other night we thought we would eat in for a change instead of always going through the drive thru WHAT A MISTAKE !!!!!!! WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN DINE IN HERE !!!!!!!! . We got in side an there were people all standing around the counter sort of an people sitting down looking like they were waiting for there fish & Chip's. So we were standing behind a lady not knowing if she was waiting in line or had been served she indicated that she had been served an for us to go to the counter so we went to the counter only to be told that she was doing a refund at that moment which was fine didn't mind waiting at all as they looked so run off there feet so we are waiting for the girl to come back an serve us after she had finished doing the refund we stood at the counter waiting for 10+ minutes watching the girl run around filling order's an not bothering about us at all. While we are waiting at the counter there is two other girl's calling out orders like in a fish & chip shop an people are going up an getting there order's I'm standing there feeling so stupid as not one of the three girls has bothered to come an serve us an this is after 10+ minutes SO DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING NEVER NEVER EVER WILL WE GO BACK HERE THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD MCDONALD'S A SAME TO SEE IT FALL SO FAR. OH AN BY THE WAY YOUR SELF SERVICE MACHINE IS NO GOOD LEAVES YOUR COUNTER UNATTENDED FOR THOSE CUSTOMERS THAT DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY ON THERE CARD'S LIKE ME AN MY HUSBAND WE ONLY HAD CASH AT THE TIME I THINK THIS IS A VERY DUMB IDEA UNLESS YOUR STAFF CAN DEAL WITH THE SELF SERVICE ORDERS AN ALSO SERVICE THE COUNTER GET RID OF THE SELF SERVICE MACHINES NOT HAPPY AT ALL ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

  I like the McDonald's coffee. And early in the morning or on public holidays it can usually still be relied on. While other cafes were still closed I got my fix at the golden arches. The new electronic ordering was goid fun here too. First time I've used it and it was easy. Also good that I avoid human contact before coffee.
