  I use these movers 3 years ago and they where amazing and cost $180 to move from lower butt to upper hutt but moved 2 weeks ago and booked then and then valley movers showed up 45 minutes late and moved 5 minutes drive, the old man was rude and changed me $390 and said they where contracted out by Wellington movers and have tried calling left voicemail and never heard back

  The guys from McNamara's have just left after moving us within Wellington. They were amazing. They took excellent care of our furniture and worked really hard. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to move. We moved a large four bedroom house, with a walk up for both. They were positive and professional through out.

  I didn't organise to use this company, flatmate had. Should have gone with anyone else. Threatened with violence by one of their employees for nothing. Guy was clearly jacked on something. And his handler did nothing. 0-/5 you could never trust these guys in your house. Nut-job looked like he was casing the place the whole time.

  We have used these guys twice. The first time they were good. The second time they were terrible. We decided to use them again after our first experience and asked them to meet us at our storage unit and move everything out and into our garage. After not arriving at 2pm I gave them a call and they lied about leaving a voice message saying they were running late and they would be there at 3pm. So we waited at the storage unit. Between 3:30 and 4:30 we rang several times and nobody answered and they NEVER SHOWED UP! Very frustrating as we had taken leave to finish moving and had to extend our storage unit lease, not to mention waiting at a storage unit for 2.5 hours.

  Have used this company twice and they are fast, professional, and reasonably priced. For example cost me $150 to move from Island Bay to Porirua for a two bedroom flat. Can highly recommend!
