  Meg is absolutely Wonderful!! I brought my wedding dress for my final alterations here! I bought my dress originally in Australia, and brought it over, and obviously worried about finding the right person to work on it. I'd had one fitting in Aus, and the 2nd time I tried on my dress after my fitting, I was feeling REALLY down as I just didn't think I looked as good as I had when I first got it. Within the first 5 min at Megs she'd made a couple of very minor adjustments that already made a huge difference! I brought my dress about 6 weeks before I needed, hoping I hadn't left it too late, but she wasn't stressed about the timeline at all. Super straight forward and upfront, Meg went over every detail with me. Went in on Wednesday to pick up my dress and I couldn't be happier! Forgot my shoes, and was freaking out - but never fear there were practice shoes there I could use (I'm not the first to forget shoes apparently!). But everything fit absolutely perfectly and was beautifully done. You absolutely pay for quality at Megs and I would use her again in a heartbeat!

  Meg’s tailoring is the absolute best of the best. They are top professionals and a dream to work with. I would recommend Meg’s Tailoring to any bride (or anyone needing something made/altered) a million times over. LOVE them and all the work they do. Many of my friends have had their dresses altered by the team there too and they never fail to do incredible work. Special shout out to Jess and Daphne who were so so lovely to work with and put so much effort into the process. All the ladies I encountered there were amazing. I came in with a very plain sample wedding dress and million and one ideas. I left with a dress that was truly unrecognisable, stunning, unique, one of a kind (I could go on, I loved it!!) The team there completely reconstructed my dress - changing the bodice, neckline, added boning, lace, changed the entire dress silhouette, the hem, made a belt, off the shoulder cape and more - It is truly incredible what they did. They took all of my ideas and made my dream dress a reality. Yay for Meg’s Tailoring!

  Great place to get the perfect fit. As soon as you enter you'll feel the vibe of professionalism as everything is kept neat, tidy and elegant like a top of the line cafe. Very professional customer service, friendly and incomparable with other stores in Auckland. The staff are welcoming and treat you with extra care. Definitely recommend to those looking for a high quality company to tailor their wears in a professional and friendly way. Have been and continue to be a happy return customer =D

  Friendly staff but horrifically expensive. The cost for relatively minor alterations to a bridesmaid dress was over $500 (more than the dress). Took the dress to another place and was charged a fraction of that amount.
