  Good class of crew behind it all makes this a 5 star spot. Food is consistent with all Mexicali I've eaten at.

  Nice friendly staff, had the chicken burrito and it was tasty. Not something I could eat all the time but definitely nice once in a while. You can sit and have a casual beer too which is nice on hot summer days to grab a quick fresh bite to eat and a drink, great location too walking distance to Takapuna beach.

  This is my favorite Mexicali! Literally only just discovered that you guys are a Mexicali. Because you’re so much better than the others I’ve always assumed you were a different brand. Me: hey what’s that place in taka where we get burritos from? Mr: Mexicali? Me: no. It’s like Mexicali but not.! It’s the small touches that make the biggest difference. You stuff the burritos slightly more, your foil is red, you put the meals in big brown paper bags and you always put in a handful of corn chips!

  Not a big fan of tacos and burritos so my judgment is biased. Serves good looking Mexican food which are fairly spicy and definitely filling. The nachos are quite bland though. Great location alongside with other dining options.
