Mico Bathrooms i Palmerston North

  Renovated our bathroom and bought everything through Mico Plumbing Palmerston North (over 5k in total). On the day of installation discovered that bath (brand Englefield) was cracked in a few places which would have made it unsafe and impossible to use. Under cardboard packaging we were unable to notice those cracks that’s why we didn’t have any suspicions while taking bath home from their showroom. After crakes were found we contacted mico straight away and they just tried to blame us for wrong transportation (although we transported bath with toilet, custom made vanity, mirror and glass screen together and nothing else was damaged) Then they promised to give us a replacement which we agreed to. However replacement was taking more than week to arrive (blaming Christmas holidays) so we agreed to pick the same bath from Paraparamu Mico (we could have done this before, but shop didn’t offer us such option. We had to come up with ideas ourselves). New bath was in great condition so we installed it. Day before picking new bath up we went to Palmerston North Mico and dropped cracked bath off. We also return a few items which they promised to credit into our account. Although few weeks later after we asked about money they said that we were owing them $299+gst for a new bath! What a news! First of all such customer service is inappropriate and secondly it’s illegal to sell damaged goods and than making clients pay for them and pay for the replacement. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
