::Start at Simla Crescent and head straight up the hill. The path is wide and there are plenty of well-constructed steps. Take water (you’ll probably need it) and you might need a light jacket or pullover if it is windy because it can be cold at the top. Took us 40 minutes to get to the mast from the bottom. It is a bit of a puff but well worth it. Enjoy.

::Ok I took the bell track, from Ngaio, pleased I did once you're made it to the top, views over to makia, have a brack , from there not be bad walk to Mt Kaukau , lovely views over the hutt petone ect , to get down I like similar cres exit , steps and a few seats on the way down , I would recommend it to adult walkers ,
